Science in an Election Year - Evening Reception and Panel

Join us on April 29, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for an evening reception and panel discussion on Science in an Election Year. During a major election year, news headlines and political platforms often highlight taxes, jobs, and security issues. But what about science? Can issues like climate change, public health, or technology influence a voter’s decision? And how does media coverage vary in an election year and shape the conversation? Our expert panel will explore how science can take either a front or back seat in national, state, and local elections. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. RSVP is required for this free event.
