Carbon capture technology is seeing a resurgence in attention and money as part of the solution to combatting climate change. But questions remain about its effectiveness, cost, and role in the energy transition, especially in hard-to-decarbonize sectors. Watch our discussion on how the technology has evolved, how it is being used, and the current deliberation of its benefits and tradeoffs.

Guests included Will Toor, Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Office, and Ahmed Abdulla, professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University and of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University where he works on questions related to energy policy and the challenge of deeply decarbonizing the electricity sector.
